Dr. Bergman was born in Vietnam and came to America as a toddler. She grew up in Virginia and North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Richmond in 1991. After graduating from college, she moved down to Florida.

She then obtained her podiatric medical degree at Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences, in Miami. She performed her surgical residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

After completing her residency training, she moved back to the Tampa Bay area where she has been in private practice for the past 13 years.

She devotes her time away from patients to her family, her husband, Rob, their 10 year old son, Brock, and their Weimeraner, Zoe. Her creative outlet involves drawing, painting and decorating. In addition, she enjoys participating in a variety of events for many charitable causes, such as Relay for Life, Special Olympics, and the Grammatica Foundation yearly Kickball Tournament, to name a few.
